On Property Adventure Tours
Enjoy adventure tours right from your front door at Osa Mountain Village Resort. We have one of the south’s most popular zipline tours and tarzan swing, but that’s just the beginning. There are also miles of nature trails for hiking and mountain biking winding their way through over 750 acres of old growth rainforest. Nearby our jungle resort are three spectacular waterfalls and an overnight camping area where, if you’re brave enough, you can sleep in the jungle… “survivor” style.
There are beaches, rivers, mountains and numerous national parks nearby offering many different attractions. Adventure tour guides are usually waiting at the entrances to popular parks like Manuel Antonio to the north, which never fails to please those who want to see monkeys. There are also numerous national parks within driving distance of Osa Mountain Village Resort to explore such as Corcovado, Chirripo and Piedras Blancas to name just a few.

Canopy Tour & Tarzan Swing
The Osa Canopy Tour lasts about 2 1/2 hours and ends at a small rancho with massive views that overlook the Grand Térraba River Valley and Pacific Ocean. Once your zip line canopy tour is over you will enjoy a local snack of fresh fruit and beverages.
Sustainable Community & Planet Eco Tour
Learn about living sustainably in this fascinating look at the inner workings of Osa Mountain Village’s food production, animal husbandry, and other aspects of building a sustainable community.
Rainforest & Waterfall Hiking Tour
Numerous waterfalls cascade through the canyons of the Osa Mountain Village Resort property. Enjoy a hike through the rainforest to one of the best waterfalls on the property as well as the animals that inhabit the area.
Waterfall Rappelling
Located on the Osa Mountain property are several large waterfalls, the largest one being over 300 feet tall. Enjoy a morning rappelling down the sides of these waterfalls. You will get wet so come prepared with a change of clothes for afterwards.
Birding
Birding is a popular past time and birders will not be disappointed at Osa Mountain Resort. Close to one hundred species have been identified including a spotting of Harpy Eagles. Tours start on the property at 6:30am.
Butterfly Gardens
Osa Butterfly Paradise is a place where you can unwind and enjoy butterflies as they flutter by you in an array of amazing colors and sizes. Great for all ages.
Camping
Camping in the jungle may be one of the most intense experiences you ever try and no matter how many times you’ve “camped” before there is something different about doing it in an old growth rain forest. The tour includes the rainforest hike and nighttime nature hike.
Nighttime Nature Hikes
The jungle comes alive at night and a guided tour is the best way to appreciate this incredible world. You will see many different types of bugs and possibly some other nocturnal creatures like snakes hunting for their dinner perhaps.
