Off Property Adventure Tours
In addition to the many on-property tours offered we also have many off property adventure tours to do nearby as well. Below is a current list of available tours close by the resort.
Horseback Riding Tours
Take a relaxing ride on horseback of the Nauyaca Falls. This leisurely ride is good for families of all ages. It lasts about 5 hours and is given on a property located nearby Osa Mountain Village Resort.
Mangrove Boat Tours
Take a tour of the local mangrove forest aboard a boat with a guide that will point out many unique animals living in this eco-system. You will probably have a chance to feed monkeys from your hand if you are lucky.
Mangrove Boat Tours
Great fun for the whole family. The local rivers offer tubing in shallow waters. Float down stream while viewing birds and other animals that live along the rivers edge. The trip lasts about 2 hours.
Snorkeling Cano Island
Snorkeling out at Cano Island will be a day to remember. The coral reef around the island is loaded with colorful tropical fish to delight your eyes.
Sport Fishing
Ocean and river sport fishing is a good way to spend a day… even if you don’t catch a single fish, but that’s unlikely as the local waters are well known for great fishing and rarely does anyone come back without having caught something.
Whale & Dolphin Watching
Enjoy a day on the ocean looking for whales and dolphins. The local waters are a breeding ground for Humpback Whales and they can often be seen off the coast breaching the waters or looking for food.
Whitewater Rafting
Three local rivers offer great whitewater rafting for the adventurous. Rapids ranging from class one to class five can be found. This is an all day trip. You will be served tropical food during a break along the river.
Waterfall Rappelling
Located near the Osa Mountain property are many waterfalls. Enjoy a morning rappelling down 6 waterfalls under the direction of our professional guides. You will get wet so come prepared with a change of clothes for afterwards.
